ABOUT US
We have teamed up with great volunteers and donors locally, donations of non perishable in date foods arrive at our Depot in Smethwick or Southall.
One of our volunteers will then make sure that all records are kept of the food we have been donated, they will then check expiry dates for foods to make sure they are good to be distributed. Then the food is made up into emergency food packs, our team of dedicated volunteer drivers then deliver this food to people in a crisis situation.
Each week we receive lots of phones calls at the depot for people in need of food, some maybe for short periods of time and some for longer, the most common reasons are below:

Sanctions at the job centre
Low income
Benefit changes
Debt
Homeless
Domestic violence
New member of the family
Breavement
Illness
Lack of hours at work
Disability
New taxes
Universal Credit
Other reasons
Our Emergency parcels would normally consist of:
Cola
Lemonade
Rice
Pasta
Beans
Chocolate
Rice Pudding
Biscuits
Sugar
Tea
Coffee
Milk
Soup
We do all this with the assistance of volunteers, please keep up the great work.
